Where it started...

People have been venturing into Kents Cavern (or Kent’s Hole as it was called before 1865) since the Stone Age. Scientific recordings of archaeology and geology has taken place for 200 years.

The site is owned by the Powe family and has been a family business for 5 generations!

Kents Cavern today operates as a successful UNESCO heritage attraction and is one of the best preserved natural caves in the country.

The Brief

Kents Cavern reached to us to produce a series of promotional videos for the site that targeted three specific sectors that they wanted to market to over 2022/23.

The first of these videos was for recruitment. The goal of the video was to showcase what it was like to work at Kents Cavern, that they have a friendly and supportive team of all ages and experience levels.

We set out to achieve this by creating a story driven video that focused on testimonial interviews from current members of staff. Speaking to staff who have been there from 2 weeks to 15 years in order to truly capture what it is like to work at the caves.

The Outcome

“We have worked with Mike for several years on multiple projects and we are always delighted with the outcomes of the films. In the last few years, we have pushed 90% of our marketing to digital so it’s important we have amazing content that tells the story of Kents Cavern. So far, my favourite film is our recruitment video.

Mike really captured the story I visualised and got across the culture and friendliness of the staff and the business. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Mike for any film projects and look forward to working with him again soon."”
